Everything is still looking good!
The app servers have restarted and we are no longer seeing timeout errors. We are continuing to monitor the situation though.
It appears as though these timeout errors are related to database connections from our app server to the database. We have restarted the app servers and are waiting for them to re-establish their connections.
We just noticed 5-10% of our requests were timing out. We are looking into this issue now.
